SURGICAL PROCEDURE
A 7 to 8cm longitudinal incision centered over the trapezium compartment is made parallel to the extensor pollicis brevis tendon. The incision starts approximately 2cms above the trapeziometacarpal joint and is carried proximally and ulnarly to the distal wrist crease. |
