EDM ventricular catheters with and without BioGlide® are fabricated of radiopaque (barium impregnated) silicone tubing, and are packaged with stainless steel stylets inserted in the lumen. All EDM ventricular catheters include luerlock connectors to facilitate catheter connection to an external drainage system. The 35 cm EDM ventricular catheters include a trocar for catheter tunneling and a fixation collar for anchoring the catheter outside the catheter exit site.
