The HIFix™ Halo Skull Pin is the first skull pin to utilize cutting edges instead of a sharp, nail like, tip. Instead of crushing its way into bone the HIFix™ Halo Skull Pin drills a neat path leaving the bone strong and viable providing improved initial fixation over standard skull pins. The HIFix™ Halo Skull Pin is used in the Bremer Halo Crown with HIFix™ Halo Skull Pins (#s HT025HI and HT026HI) and in the Bremer 3D Halo Crown. HIFix™ Halo Skull Pins are used for the same indications as standard skull pins except pediatric.
