The ProDisc-C Total Disc Replacement has been determined to be safe and effective in the treatment of neck or arm pain caused by symptomatic cervical disc disease (SCDD) at one level from C3-C7. During the ProDisc-C Total Disc Replacement procedure, the surgeon removes the diseased intervertebral disc, decompresses the neurological elements and inserts a ProDisc-C implant into the disc space.
The ProDisc-C total disc replacement surgery is intended to:
