The Cardio-Island system provides ultraclean laminar-type unidirectional airflow along with rapid temperature change capabilities in operating rooms used for cardiac cases. Each customized Cardio-Island System is designed to integrate ceiling mounted OR equipment and the architectural reflected ceiling plan. The complete system includes special high capacity plenums with terminal HEPA filtration, recirculation fans with controls and touchscreen user interface, heavy duty cleanroom ceiling framing, and fill in panels for finishing any ceiling penetrations.
