The resorbable repair device is implanted into a prepared hole in the bone, and is used to attach soft tissue. The suture anchors are made of a resorbable copolymer, derived from glycolide and lactide colored with D&C violet #2. The glycolide/lactide copolymer degrades and resorbs in vivo by hydrolysis to lactic and glycolic acids which are then metabolized by the body.
