Autologous Platelet Gel

Blood Recovery Systems, Inc.
Autologous platelet gel has an extensive base of experience and knowledge in the use of autologous platelet gel. When concentrated autologous platelets are mixed with calcified thrombin a series of structural and functional changes involved in coagulation take place. Secreted from the platelets are a number of factors including serotonin, fibronectin, adenosine diphosphate, thromboxane A, platelet factor 4, platelet derived growth factor and platelet activating factor. Release of these factors cause a chemotactic response and initiates the process of migration between the endothelial cells.
