The HAMMERTOE implant (Swanson Type) Weil†Design
is a double-stemmed flexible implant designed for the proximal
interphalangeal joint of the lateral toes. It is used as an adjunct
to resection arthroplasty in cases of moderate to severe hammertoe
deformities of toes 2 through 5.
