Method
The QUATTRO ACUTE™ was evaluated on a general adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) over a period of six months. Data was collected on a total of 14 patients, with ages ranging from 31 to 88. The number of days that the individual patients were cared for on the mattress ranged from 1 to 19.

The Autosuture™ GIA™ UNIVERSAL stapler places two, triple-staggered rows of titanium staples and simultaneously divides the tissue between the two, triple-staggered rows. The size of the staples is determined by the selection of the 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm or 4.8 mm single-use loading unit (SULU).
