The Avanta Total Wrist Implant is a prosthesis anatomically
designed for minimal resection of the distal radius and carpal
bones of the wrist. The implant is provided in left and right

joints. The prosthesis is composed of three primary
articulating components; the radial, carpal ball, and carpal
plate.

The BIAX Total Wrist with POROCOAT Porous Coating simulates the biaxial motion of the normal wrist. Duplication of the anatomy provides for Flexion Extension Motion (F-E-M) and Radial-Ulnar Deviation (R-U-D) that closely simulate normal wrist joint mechanics. In addition, the elongated articulating surfaces of the radial and metacarpal components provide a more congruent contact throughout the R-U-D and F-E-M planes of motion.

The Diamond™ plate is designed for four corner fusion of the capitate, hamate, lunate and triquetrum bones in the hand. The plate is intended for use in patients suffering from pain and/or loss of function due to SLAC and SNAC wrist, post-traumatic arthritis, fractures, carpal instability or rheumatoid arthritis. When combined with the specially designed screws included in the system, the plate acts as a compression device, providing secure fixation with only four screws.
